About Me

I'm Verner, a full stack web developer based in New York City. I try to make the stuff I build as simple and intuitive as possible. I'm a recent graduate of General Assembly's Web Development Immersive program, a 12 week boot camp specializing in the fundamentals of front-end and back-end web development.

This includes RESTful architectures, agile and test-driven methodologies, integrating APIs and a variety of languages and technologies.

In my former life, I was an advertising copywriter, working on American Express and Mercedes-Benz - which was exciting. But what was even more exciting was when I had the chance to brainstorm with web developers for several projects. Long story short, I realized I want to build the final product instead of marketing them.
